Abstract

The increasing expansion of pornography has led to a qualitative leap in the ways porn is consumed with the objective of fullfilling what the public demands. In this context, sexcams enter the scene. They propose an interesting sociological aspect to analyze as a new socialization scenario seen from Collins’ perspective as an interaction ritual, what leads us to suppose that in Interaction Rituals (ir) it is possible that the absence of copresence takes us to think of space in a wider spectrum and consider a possible virtual space that allows the development of a synchony that displays the bodies, where there is a direct feedback and a stimulation of different senses depending on how many devices they get for the ritual.
