Abstract
This article offers an overview of Isidro Fabela’s life as a Mexican lawyer, writer, and politician, who witnessed and participated in the early years of the Mexican Revolution. As a student, Fabela supported the Ateneo de la Juventud, as well as the movements spearheaded by Francisco Madero and Venustiano Carranza (Constitutionalism). He contributed to revolutionary causes with his legal expertise from his condemnation of Belén Prison to his defense of Mexico in international diplomacy, in which he stood out for his radical positions. This text reveals a biography of an intense dedicated figure to advocate the historiographical approach to an individual who has been cited for social functions that did not always correspond to what Fabela represented in life.
