68, The Birth of a Generation *

Abstract

In this text the author tries to think about the nature and limits of a personal testimony. Belonging to the generation of ‘68, he analyzes how event 68 simultaneously forms and defines it personally and, at the same time, tries to sketch a historical essay on that moment that brings forth a budding societal renewal. In this dialectic of the subject and its constitution, it highlights the complexity of taking into account the value of the testimony of all witnesses.
