Abstract
The text deals with a reflection on masculinity and power, as well as male and female sexuality, all from the perspective of complexity. It is based on the mythologies created to establish an order of hegemony, while it offers a brief overview of a history of oppression in the West. It refers to some of the key moments and figures in thought and movements, such as feminism and gay liberation, which propose a new way of looking at men and women. Finally, it discusses ways of exercising power, both from masculinity and femininity, inviting debate.
