Etnografías homosexuales: una contribución desde la antropología de la sexualidad
Keywords:
sexuality, anthropology, homosexualityAbstract
The anthropologist Gayle Rubin wondered about the conceptual resources to show the oppression of some over others, as well as the ways of thinking about sexual politics that can become radical. From this trope I want to explore the search of those epistemic and methodological tools that can contribute to anthropological research because they are still necessary nowadays to speak of the subjects with whom we conduct and produce ethnographic knowledge. In this way, this text kcknowledges the need to think about the characterization of an anthropology of sexuality that brings together experiences and methodological approaches based on the experience of sexuality. To do so, I will review anthropological works from Mexico and Latin America (a bibliographic cohort) to investigate the theoretical and methodological resources that are conceived from the “anthropology of sexuality” to deal with the epistemology of homosexual subjects.
