La función social de la historia

Abstract

The article shows the challenge, made at present times, to a long tradition of practicing a history full of social functions. The author contrasts the practice of historians that reconstructed societies deep roots, with the homogeneus present, as “global presenteeism”, isolated on auto-referential academies, that have no contact with society.
