La disputa por el paraíso. Religión y política en dos comunidades indígenas de Chiapas

Abstract

In this paper the author analizes the different socio-political positions that the religious conversión setoffamong the Chiapanecan natives, and the Zapatista's response to these positions. The religious proposals —Catholic and Protestant— do not deny political action, but express different ways of understanding and practicing politics.
