Gragment of the amonimus book where the architect Ramírez Vázquez, author of the book and the building that houses the museum, recalls the construction and museographic history of the iconography of the Mexican museum. In the book -published in commemoration of the 45th anniversary of its construction- Ramirez Vásquez explains the pioneering architecture and museogaphic design and construction of the galleries with the archaeological collection and includes architectonic plans, photographs of the constructed spaces, an inventory of the contemporary murals and paintings (by Rufino Tamayo, Carlos Mérida, José Chavez Morado, Mathias Goeritz, Pablo O'Higgins and Luis Covarrubias, and others), testimonies and list of collaborators.
