Abstract

This article is a biographical examination of Enrique Bordes Mangel, a Madero-supporter from Guanajuato, Mexico. In addition to being a cowriter of the Plan de San Luis, he was a popular speaker, an official in the Mexico City government, a three-time federal deputy, and an ambassador from Mexico to El Salvador and Honduras. He died in Tijuana impoverished and without glory, after being exiled several times.
