Las planicies
Resumen
La región conocida como Las Planicies abarca inmensas llanuras que se extienden desde Canadá hasta Texas, y desde el Mississippi hasta las Rocallosas. No se sabe con exactitud cuándo se estableció el hombre en Las Planicies; sin embargo, sí se puede asegurar que hace unos doce mil años los paleoindios (cazadores tempranas de caza mayor) perseguían al mamut en las dilatadas planicies herbáceas. El presente trabajo pretende dar una imagen general de la vida de los habitantes de esta región desde su arribo hasta su confinamiento en las llamadas "reservaciones ".
