Abstract

On the Cauná mountain, in the town of Ocoapa, municipality of Copanatoyac, Guerrero, is the rocky shelter of Cahuaziziqui (Cave of the game), site with cave painting of Olmec style. I was able to discover this site thanks to the information provided by Professor Eliseo Campos and the guide of Rosalino Leyva and Professor Fidel Ángel Calixto (†) after a fortunate serendipity. After random incidents, I was able to access the place where there is, as the main figure, a representation of the young God of corn and two hundred geometric and schematic motifs with allegories of germinating plants and the planet Venus, above all.
