Abstract
The article deals with aspects related to the restoration of two series of paintings: the first includes eight canvases on the life of Saint Agnes of Montepulciano of the Dominican community of nuns in Bogota, probably from the second half of the seventeenth century. The second series is a group of crowned nuns on their death beds (coffins), painted in the eighteenth century and from the community of Poor Clares in the same city. The processes carried out have permitted the beginning of a study of authorship, which includes an initial attempt to identify the possible artists who painted these collections, which to date remain anonymous, with the exception of three signed works.
