Cambiando miradas. La nueva simbolización de lo político entre los evangélicos mexicanos

Abstract

This paper analyzes the world-vision changes of Mexican Protestants (evangélicos), specifically Pentecostals and Neopentecostals. Thesegroups started a firm consolidation process —tvhich supposed an inconditional alliance with government forces—, but arrived to a precarious rclationship with those sameforces, pushing these groups towards the construction ofa social, political and religions project oftheir own.
