Comunicación intercultural y la consulta médica en pacientes wixaritari (huicholes): un elemento a considerar dentro del patrimonio biocultural

<pwixaritari. En específico, la investigación pretende comparar patrones de comunicación durante la consulta médica entre profesionales de la salud mestizos mientras atienden a pacientes mestizos y pacientes indígenas, e identificar patrones de comunicación durante la "limpia" a pacientes wixaritari. La investigación reportada muestra que existen diferencias durante la consulta médica entre profesionales de la salud mestizos atendiendo a pacientes mestizos y pacientes wixaritari y estas diferencias se pueden explicar en términos de diferencias en las expectativas de lo que debe ocurrir durante la consulta médica entre pacientes wixaritari y prestadores de servicios médicos, en términos comunicativos y meta-comunicativos.
