El propósito central de este trabajo es explorar los problemas analíticos que abordan una serie de estudios etnohistóricos y antropológicos acerca de grupos afroamericanos publicados en el extranjero y se examinan casos del Caribe, Centroamérica, Sudamérica, y Estados Unidos.
