Abstract

This paper aims to provide a general overview of my internship from 2010-2011 at the Polychromed Wood Sculpture Workshop of the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage in Brussels, Belgium (KIK-IRPA). It tackles, in a general way, the conformation and development of this institution and its internships, as well as the activities carried out during this time and the reflections that were generated from the internship as a result of the comparison between restoration in Mexico and Belgium.
