Resumen

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar y discutir los métodos morfológicos  y  métricos  más  importantes  que  se  utilizan  en el  estudio  de  los  restos  humanos  que  han  sido  quemados  o que están calcinados. Estos métodos tienen varios propósitos: la reconstrucción del perfil biológico de los individuos, la reconstrucción  de  las  alteraciones  térmicas  y  la  identificación de prácticas culturales relacionadas con la manipulación de los restos humanos en los rituales funerarios.
