Introduction

Abstract

The compilation of analysis of Zapotec texts is presented, which has its origin in the sessions of the Interinstitutional Seminar on Zapotec Languages, which brings together various experts in the analysis of these languages at various levels: morphological, phonological, typological and syntactic. The diversity in the writing of the texts analyzed derives from the nature, the need and the conditions in which each one arises and, in turn, shows the diversity of writing forms and literary genres appreciated in Zapotec culture.
