Abstract
Hereditas journal has demonstrated, since its first appearance in December 2001 and throughout the 32 issues published, a clear trajectory with emphasis on various heritage topics. Since the conception of the idea within the Dirección de Patrimonio Mundial (DPM) of the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH), there has always been a firm interest in opening a space for cultural information on the world heritage of our country, the Latin American region and other latitudes; but also to be a critical and discussion forum to address other conventions and common issues that are relevant to the conservation of cultural heritage. In times of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was of utmost importance to continue the work with digital versions, specifically issues 30 and 31, in which the generous collaboration of regional experts continued to accompany us with the work concerning the conservation of world heritage and the work that was carried out in difficult times.
