Abstract

The Textile Memory Project attached to the INAH-Oaxaca Center is a newly created project (2019) that emerged as a corollary to the problem unleashed in 2015 with the plagiarism of the Tlahuitoltepec blouse (Xaam nïxuy) perpetrated by the firm Isabel Marant, and in which I became involved at the request of the National Coordination of Anthropology with the development of an anthropological report based on the community dynamics given from the event.
