Abstract

In this book Berenice Granados presents a theoretical-methodological proposal for the study of oral materials about the town of Zirahuén, located in the Mesoamerican sub-area of the West that is currently identified with the states of Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán and Guerrero. Through this original research, the author weaves different cultural realizations of the people as poetics, and shows the strength with which the people resemanticize the stories about the lake of Zirahuén.
